My Stage 5 Learning Ladder.

his week we started making our learning ladder about Stage 5 numeracy knowledge. Here are my results so far. The Gold for glory shows what I know and the Blue to do is what I don’t know yet

For writing we have been learning how to write animal reports.

                                           

Octopus

Octopus are molluscs. There are 300 species.

Octopus have two eyes and eight arms called tentacles. The tentacles have suckers.

They lay up to 200,000 eggs under rocks.

They like to eat squids and crabs They glide on the seafloor and find food under the sand.

Octopus are found in shallow waters and make their homes in rocks and coral.

Octopus release a purple-black ink for defense.

Honey bees

For reading we have been reading about honey bees. I have created a google draw to show the dance of the honey bee.

My Writing goal

My writing goal is to:
* Put capital letters and full stops in the correct places
* Make sure my sentences make sense.

I am working at Level 2b.
