Have you ever had a horse ride? The horses trotted up the hill tilting me side to side.
The wind blew the grass like little waves in the sea on a cool spring day as the mountain stood proudly whispering to the wind.
It was relaxing whenever the horse walked
The forest sang like an angel and made us feel safe.

Rugby
This is my recount about rugby. Can you find my simile?
Rugby
On Saturday we were going to rugby at 9.30am at Ohaeawai. I hopped out of bed and sped down stairs like the Flash.I quickly got dressed into my rugby clothes, I had to go with Koro in the truck. First I had to wake up my brother because he was coming. We had to run next door because it was time to go to rugby.
I heard the engine start while my brother and I were running over to the barn. “Hurry up” Koro said, so we got in the truck and drove off. I was pumped up.
When we got there I saw my dad, I ran over and had a talk then he said “go to your team”. It was windy and cold, I was like a penguin walking across the ice.
I saw Morewa they had big fat guys in their team. They had two teams. I heard the whistle blow we all had to go on the field, the captains were called to the middle of the field by the ref for the coin toss to see who kicks off.
We kick off, we all ran for the ball. I jumped up in the air to catch it with nae-nae. He caught it but he knocked it on, then Enzo and Bailey got the ball. When they got the ball and got tackled, Reed blew Moerewa over, they passed to me then I passed back to Enzo and he bowled over all the skinny guys from Moerewa. Enzo jumped like kangaroo over the try line. We lost by two points After the game we had to do the haka for them then we had a feed.
